Our pontoon boats
Both of our pontoons are tritoons, which means they ride on three tubes instead of two. Each one is powered by a 150 hp Honda, and each holds up to 12 people. They have the same price, so pick the one that’s open on your date.

Prices are per boat, not per person. Sales tax and fuel are extra. Smaller group? Our 19′ deck boat, Hurricane, holds up to 9 people and starts at $275 for 4 hours.
Pontoon or tritoon: what’s the difference?
A standard pontoon floats on two aluminum tubes. A tritoon adds a third tube down the middle. That extra tube gives you:
- A smoother, steadier ride. There’s less rocking when boats pass or the wind picks up on the bigger lakes.
- Better handling with a full boat. The weight is spread across three tubes, so a group of 12 still rides level.
- An easy step-on, step-off deck that’s great for kids, grandparents, and coolers.
If you searched for a “pontoon rental,” a tritoon is the same kind of boat. It’s just a bit more stable.
What’s included
- A clean boat with a full tank. When you return, we refill it and charge only for the gas you used.
- Coast Guard approved life jackets in standard adult sizes. Bring properly fitted vests for young kids.
- A full briefing before you leave on the boat, the controls, and the local waterway rules.
- No security deposit. You pay the rental when you book, and we keep a card on file.
Half day or full day?
4 hours ($375) is plenty for a relaxed cruise around Lake Minnehaha and a neighboring lake or two, with time to stop and float.
8 hours ($500) is the better deal if you want to really explore. Pack lunch, cruise through the canals to the other lakes, and come back as the afternoon cools off. We’re open 9 AM to 6 PM.
Save 10% on weekdays. Use code WD10 for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday rentals (holidays excluded). Weekdays are also the quietest days on the water.
Great for groups
With room for up to 12, a pontoon is the easiest way to get everyone on the water together. Renters book them for:
- Birthday and anniversary cruises
- Family reunions and visiting relatives
- A day off from the theme parks
- Floating and swimming with friends
- Sunset-hour cruises and sightseeing
Every boat also has a Coast Guard weight limit, so your maximum is whichever limit you hit first: people or weight. If you’re not sure, call us and we’ll help you pick.
Who can drive
The driver must be 25 or older and have prior boating experience. If the driver was born on or after January 1, 1988, Florida also requires a boating safety ID card or a temporary rental certificate, which you can get online before your trip. See Do you need a boating license in Florida? for the details.
Tubing, towing, and waterskiing aren’t allowed. Our pontoons are built for cruising and relaxing.
Where you’ll go
You’ll launch from Cypress Cove Marina & Resort on Lake Minnehaha, the second-largest lake in the Clermont Chain at more than 2,000 acres. From there, canals connect you to the rest of the chain, from big, open Lake Louisa to Lake Minneola next to downtown Clermont. Read our Clermont Chain of Lakes guide to plan your route.
